About the Kellogg Conference Center
Located five miles west of Hendersonville on Broyles Road, the Kellogg Center includes fifty acres with meadows, forest and wetland. This was the summer residence of Kathryn A. Kellogg of Michigan, whose husband founded the Square D Company. Mrs. Kellogg donated the property to Wake Forest University in 1969, and it was eventually passed onto UNC Asheville. The Kellogg Center is comprised of the Conference Center, The Center for Craft, Creativity and Design, and the Perry N. Rudnick Nature Trail.
The Conference Center now comprises the original 2000 square foot Kellogg home of wood brick and stone, as well as a 2,500 square foot modern addition that complements the original structure. Large windows enhance much of the building opening onto the spectacular scenery. The building was designed to accommodate both small meetings and large conferences with high-speed internet connections in all rooms and available audiovisual equipment.
Situated in picturesque rural Henderson County, yet only 10 miles from the Asheville Regional Airport, the Kellogg Center provides the perfect place for a group to meet, away from the distractions of the workday world, in a comfortable setting that is both private and convenient.
